THESE BOOTS WERE MADE FOR WALKIN'

And that's just what they'll do on Saturday, May 30!

Greater Hillsborough Senior Services will join The Hillsborough-Deering chapter of DECA in sponsoring a Walk-a-thon in support of GHSS quest for a community bus, Bus-4-Us. Participants will obtain sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues, classmates, team mates, drinking mates (of appropriate drinking age!), golf partners, neighbors -- you name it, the more supporters, the better! The participant will meander through Hillsborough between 9:00 am and noon, or the fit ones will make it a 'run for the money.' No matter how you do it, it's all for a good cause because the money you get from your supporters  will be added to GHSS Bus 4 Us community bus fund. You have to register to join the fun on Saturday, 30 May, at Hillsborough-Deering Elementary School parking lot. Bring your pledge sheets with you. Pledge sheets are available from Pat Mathison (464-5029) or Gene Gould (464-4007). Pledge sheets are also available at Santander Bank, Sweet Expressions and Achille Agway in Hillsborough.

Stay tuned as I try to get more details for this walk-a-thon, such as the distance you will promise your supporters that you will cover and what prizes will be awarded.
